Aloisie Czernin-Morzin's Patronage of Architecture (1832-1907)

The topic of this thesis is the Countess Aloisie Czernin-Morzin's rich patronage of architecture on her lands, such as Maršov or Vrchlabí. It includes building of churches, chapels, industrial buildings, public buildings and conversion of castles. The most notable architects working for her were Josef Schulz, Stephan Tragl and Johann Koch. This thesis will also deal with Aloisie Czernin-Morzin's contribution to the final form of the buildings she funded.
