Engineering geological conditions in the route of the Ore Mountains Tunnel

This bachelor's thesis deals with description of engineering-geological conditions along the route of Ore Mountains Tunnel for high-speed railway line Prague - Dresden. In the introduction, it focuses on describing the area of eastern part of Ore Mountains, issues related to historical mining in the Zadní Telnice area, and the risk of slope deformations. The second part of this thesis concentrates on a detailed description of local geological conditions based on research from professional publications and direct field measurements. Documentation of MTB Trails in Brno Surroundings

The aim of this work was the focus of several MTB trails in the vicinity of Brno tourist GPS. The GPS measurements were drawn along the route directional, longitudinal profiles and itinerary routes. Then were created along the route directional and longitudinal profiles still one of the tourist maps. The result is compared to the route directional and longitudinal profiles, how different positional and height.

Creating a substrate for a low voltage cable project

The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of documentation for design purposes when changing or supplementing the low-voltage line in the cadastral area of Pašovice in Moravia. The work consists of updating the technical map of the Zlín Region and then completing and creating additional documents for the planner. In the first part I focus on theoretical basics of technical map and on the technologies used for measurement. There is also a brief introduction to the location. In the second part I deal with the very update of the JDTM-ZK, as well as the creation of the special map in the scale 1: 500

Czechoslovak Broadcasting Company in the 20's and 30's of the 20th Century

Broadcast transmission started in the Czech Republic in the 18th of May 1923 under the sponsorship of Radiojournal (RJ). Nobody suspected how important role it will play in the future. Actually, it was thought of it only as a technical attraction, considering wireless spread of human voice a miracle. It is why the propagation and evaluation of the broadcast was not much dependent on the provided program, but preferably on the fact that it was a wireless broadcast. The introduction of a new media has never caused such a revolution and to a certain extent a shock as in the case of the broadcast. In fact, broadcast is the oldest electronic medium. Even though the introduction of television or internet caught some attention, it was far from such a surprise; it was always only "improvement of something known". The broadcast is based on the principles that no one knew before. It was one of the reasons why it was accepted with doubts at the beginning. However, after some time, people realised, that broadcast is a good device for spreading of information. Originally a technical attraction, the broadcast became an irreplaceable part in the word of media. The Accessibility Standards Adoption Level of the Public Administration Websites - Prague City Districts

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to provide an analysis of the accessibility standards adoption level of Prague city districts websites. The required level is defined in the Ministry of Internal Affairs notice (Accessibility Notice) which reflects the amendment of the law 365/2000 and contains accessibility guidelines which are the result of the project "Přístupnost webových stránek orgánů státní správy" (Accessibility of Public Administration Web Pages). The thesis also reflects similar analysis from the paper "Přístupnost a weby městských částí Prahy" (Accessibility and Web Pages of Prague City Districts) written in 2007. To achieve this goal the thesis firstly describes accessibility keystones (definition of accessibility, disabled users, legislation etc.). Next part of the thesis provides an analysis of above mentioned project and its outcomes, which contain the comparison of Czech accessibility guidelines, WCAG 1.0 and working draft of WCAG 2.0, analysis of disabled users needs, draft of new accessibility guidelines and costs of its application among public administration websites. Third part of the thesis depicts a comparison of the Accessibility Notice guidelines and "Best practice -- Pravidla pro tvorbu přístupného webu" (previous version of Czech accessibility guidelines). Final part presents particular and summary results of the accessibility test of particular Prague city districts websites against selected guidelines of the Accessibility Notice. Test results are also compared with outcomes of above mentioned paper from year 2007.

Accessibility and web pages of Prague city districts

Cílem této práce je aplikovat metody testování přístupnosti internetových stránek na weby městských částí Prahy. Pro dosažení tohoto cíle však nejprve charakterizuji základní rysy přístupnosti a skupiny uživatelů, pro které má přístupnost internetových stránek zásadní význam. V další části se pak stručně věnuji historickému vývoji metodických pokynů pro tvorbu přístupného webu jak na globální, tak na české úrovni a vzhledem faktu, že jsem se zabýval weby městských částí v Praze, jež patří mezi orgány veřejné správy, jsem neopomenul ani vývoj legislativních podmínek a doporučených postupů daných legislativou České republiky. Samotnému testu přístupnosti pak předchází řada omezení, jejichž cílem je snížení komplexnosti testu tak, aby vyhovoval rozsahu této práce i mým schopnostem a možnostem. Dále stanovuji způsob provedení testu a závěrečných částech seznamuji čtenáře s dílčími a později i souhrnnými výsledky testu přístupnosti jednotlivých webů proti vybraným bodům metodiky ?Best practice ? Pravidla pro tvorbu přístupného webu?.
