My Bachelor work is called The individualization in ́the houses on a half' way ́ with concentrating on an individual plan , and changes connecting to the introduction of the standard of the social serves quality I engaged in getting acquainted with the law No.108/2006 sb., about Social Services , changes that this law brings, Quality standards of Social Services, and their requirements. Then I was devoting an individual work with clients and an individual planning on that basis. Since this work has been oriented at The Houses on a half'way above all I wanted to get known this Service well, find out who is this service for and how it works. I interviewed welfare workers from The house on a half'way in Hrochův Týnec. I've tried to do justice to the main changes which the law No. 108/2006 has brought and which are connected with animplementation of ̈The Quality standarts of social services ̈ to practise(to real life). The main objective of this work was not even drawing near the new things these two documents have brought, what they are here for and what objektive they have, but also bringing near how the individual planning works, its producing and what it is dedicated to. The partial target was to find out what changes these documents have brought to practise. The methods I have chosen for this research are...

2 Abstract Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Author: Petra Mottlová Title: Laboratory methods of detection of Borrelia burgdorferi in clinical material Bachelor thesis Field of study: Medical laboratory technician, attendance study form Background: Summarize the main finding of the known Lyme borreliosis. Individual chapters deal with the history of the disease, etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, prevention, clinical picture, treatment and diagnosis. Greater attention is being paid to the possibilities of today's laboratory diagnosis of the disease and its issues. The aim of the practical part is to provide a statistical overview of the disease in Hradec Králové. Methods: Statistical analysis of the data of patients who were examined by indirect ELISA method to detect antibodies of borrelias at the University Hospital in Hradec Králové. Analysis was performed in a professional statistical software. Results of the analysis are given in tables and for better orientation in graphs as well. Results: From 7067 cases were 70,9% negative and 28,1% positive. The acute phase was the most common stadium. Women were more affected (55,1%) than men (44,9%). The average age of woman was 60 to 69 years and men 50 to 59 years. September was the most common month of sampling. The...
Effect of valencene on adhesion of breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231
Mottlová, Petra ; Matoušková, Petra (advisor) ; Schröterová, Ladislava (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Petra Mottlová Supervisor: Ing. Petra Matoušková, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Effect of valencene on adhesion of breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 Valencene belongs to sesquiterpenes and is constituent of essential oils of many plants. It is the main citrus flavoring component. Valencene is mainly used in the food and cosmetic industries, but recent studies have confirmed its biological activity. Its antitumor, antiinflammatory, antioxidant and antiallergic effects have been already proven. The objective of this study was to determine the cytotoxic effect and influence on the adhesion of sesquiterpene valencene on breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231. Another objective was to study the mechanism of its effect from the perspective of the selected adhesion molecules, which have an important role in tumorigenesis and metastasis. Valencene's cytotoxic effect was tested with use of neutral red (NRU test). Valencene influence on cell adhesion was continuously monitored by means of the X-Celligence device and expression of selected adhesion molecules was studied by Western blot and qPCR methods. The results showed a slight cytotoxic effect of valencene. Cell viability was over 70% at a...

Ageism
MOTTLOVÁ, Petra
Theoretical part of the bachelor work concentrates on: human age dividing, age ideology, age norms and sources of ageismus and demonstration of ageismus. Summary of theoretical part is dedicated to intergeneration prejudice. In the practical part of the bachelor work I concentrate on the research itself. The aim of this research is discovery of the prejudice existence from younger generation to older generation and its possible manifestation. The method, I chose for data gathering, was questionnaire (semantic differential). Questioning seniors I was trying to find out both ageistic attitudes and stereotypes, concerning seniors and old age and personal experience of the questioned ones with behaviour demonstration towards his/her person, which is conveyed by a senior. Overall 225 questionnaires were compiled. Research sample consisted of the population at the age of 15 {--} 74 years old in the district of Pelhrimov. The choice of respondents was random. The results are shown in the tables through middle figures for each age category. Outputs of the practical part are results confirming the hypothesis of decreasing number of prejudice to seniors with growing age. Existence of age discrimination is not denied by the research. On the other hand significant confirmation of ageismus in intergeneration attitudes was not possible to approve. In the conclusion it is necessary to state, that ageismus is represented in the population mainly by the people at the age by 30 years old, but general attitudes to old age and seniors are more likely positive. In hidden, but a very significant way, ageismus can be shown in the area of work market.
