Issue of parental responsibility for illicit drug users and examples from practise

The issue of parental responsibility of illegal drugs users is quite controversial, since it applies to minors, whose interests it is always necessary to take into consideration. The aim of this thesis is: the description of problems in the field of a family law, the work of respondents with parents who are using drugs, how this problem looks according their practical experience and how they continue to work over this. Source of data was semi-structured interviews and text documents of client files. The following methods were used: first rank reduction, text coloring, clustering. Research group consisted from addictology experts and experts of social services. Altogether seven respondents. All participants agreed to collaborate. It was found out that majority of clients coming with their problems about child care on their own initiative but this happens not so often. In work with these clients appear specifics - it is necessary to take into account interests of the child who often demands the individual decision. Moreover it became clear that the majority of motivation is "passive", which means that a main objective of treatment / contact with this organizations is the family law affairs. The majority of respondents confirm continuous improvement of cooperation between the each other.
