Analysis of the potencial for tourism with a case study of Orlik Dam

The bachelor thesis deals with tourism and evaluation the assumptions for the local tourism and its development. The problem is practically solved on the example of the Orlik Dam. The hypothesis assumes, that the region use the benefits from its potential lack. This was confirmed by acomplished situational analysis, SWOT analysis and evaluation of the potential of tourism by own method based on method made by RNDr. Jan Bína. There was found several critical areas, that prevent a more intensive using of the tourist offer. The main problem is eutrophication of water and the lack of tourism infrastructure. Increase the attractiveness of the area for tourists represent proposed projects listed at the conclusion of the thesis.

Specifics of Development of Municipalities in Protected Landscape Area Shown on Example of Protected Landscape Area of Jizera Mountains

This bachelor thesis studies a specific situation in municipalities, which lie in The Protected Landscape Area of Jizera Mountains. An answer to the question "Are municipalities influenced by an existence of The Protected Landscape Area in their area?" was searched. In case that they are influenced, is the effect negative or positive? The socio economic analysis and the SWOT analysis are used in this bachelor thesis. There are evaluated data that were gained from questionnaire survey, which was carried out between representatives of the municipalities. The result of the thesis is, that The Protected Landscape Area has an effect on a development of municipalities. This effect is not the only one in researched municipalities. The localization of municipalities in relation to agglomeration of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou and an accessibility of these cities have a principal influence too. The other development factors determine, whether the effect of The Protected Landscape Area on municipalities is negative or positive.

Regional aspects of tourism development and accomodation in Liberec region and Freistaat Sachsen

The thesis will focus on tourism development in Liberec region and cross-boder region Freistaat Sachsen. In the first part deals the thesis with definition of tourism, its economic importance, the share of GDP in both countries and its relation to regional development. Primarily deals the thesis with the amount of accomodation facilities in both regions and with other assumptions to achieve great revenues from tourism. In the next part of the thesis the survey and the analysis of statistical data in Liberec region and Freistaat Sachsen will be performed. Both regions will be than compared to find major differences between these regions and to find ideal guest profile. The major aim of the thesis will be based to compare the strenghts and weaknesses of accommodation facilities. It also contains the measure which will be used to improve tourism services in Liberec region and possible increase in revenues from tourism.

The socioeconomic analysis of the town Jičín with emphasis on cultural an social life

The thesis is focuses on socioeconomic analysis of the town Jičín, with emphasis on cultural and social life in the town and on other potential possibilities of town development. The aim of this thesis is to define a potential of the artificial fairytale tradition, which is associated with the town, to catch its social and financial contribution to the town as well to the entrepreneurial subjects. The thesis analyses financial and non-monetary effects of cultural actions and suggests options of further development of cultural activities. The thesis finds out, that the man-made tradition of the town, as the town of fairytales brings Jičín and big local business entity mainly non -- monetary benefits in the form of higher social and ethical prestige. However, small businesses, especially those located where cultural events take place, benefit financially in a form of more customers and higher revenues. The thesis concludes that the realization of suggested development opportunities would utilise more of the fairytale potential of the town and would bring higher financial and non--monetary benefits.

Integrated plan of the development of administrative district of municipality with expanded scope Lovosice.

As the topic of my bachelor work I chose Integrated plan of development of the administrative district of municipality with expanded scope Lovosice in years 2013- 2020. In the introduction of my work I want to devote to the definition and the history of strategic planning. Then I would like to devote to the superior strategic documents, according to which I will generate the integrated plan of development. In the next part of the work I will do a socioeconomic analysis of the monitored area, where I will deal with the history, geography, transport infrastructure, economic conditions and with the development and the structure of the population. Then I will develope the SWOT analysis defining the strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities and the threats of the area.At the end of the work will ensue the plan of the development of the chosen spheres containing defined goals and the ways, which I want to reach them. The main goal of the work is to provide integrated view on the area and to propose the possibilities of its development in the coming years.
