Therapeutic effect of sound
Mendrek, Dominik ; Gerlichová, Markéta (advisor) ; Černohorský, Roman (referee)
There's no denying that the sound, respectively music played an important role in the process of human evolution. The phenomenon of mechanical vibration of air particles formed our personalities to such an extent, that most of us "normal" is hard to imagine leading a full life without this "obvious." The effect of sound waves on the human body can be therapeutic or destructive. This work aims to make a small glimpse into the vast and far (still) a little explored area of the therapeutic effect of sound. I will focus on the physiological mechanisms of perception (processing) audio information and the effect that this step may cause.
