The position of women in the labour market

This bachelor thesis focuses on problematics of the position of women in the labor market within the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to introduce gender issue and clarify the current situation of women in the labor market. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical and the practical part. Literature based theoretical part explains the main terms and definitions for understanding and performing the research in the practical part. It also outlines the legislative framework for equal opportunities for men and women in the Czech Republic and the European Union. Furthermore, I described the historical development of approach to women, not only in the labor market, but in the society in general. The practical part examines the situation of women in the labor market in the Czech Republic in comparison with other EU countries, identifies the main problems of equal opportunities in the Czech labor market and explores university students' opinions on the whole issue. In conclusion, I proposed suggestions and recommendations that could lead to improvements in this area.

Title: Methodological detection solution scaffolds response to mechanical stress, depending on the degree of hydration Objectives: Determining the extent of lateral deformation u scaffolds made of PVA polymer electrospinning technique. Identify the extent of differences in transverse deformation for different groups of nanofiber scaffolds made of PVA polymer electrospinning technique. Methods: Research scaffolds, we used a measuring device μ-tester, which has two jaws. For the measurement, we chose uniaxial tension test in -tester and record the fluorescence microscope was used with HD camera Olympus 320 for online video recording. Results: The results of this study showed that the ratio of the samples U: L and crosslinking time affects the degree of lateral deformation of the samples scaffolds. Samples scaffolds are compressible, some groups even reached the limits of incompressibility 0.5 Poisson's ratio. Bachelor's thesis: Current problems of work and family life synochronization in Czech families Tereza Šíchová 2013-05-17 Abstract The bachelor thesis "Current problems of work and family life synochronization in Czech families" deals with situation of preschool childcare. One of the goals is to find the right place for this kind of services in the context of work and family synchronization. Due to bad situation about the capacity of the public kindergartens (which are completely full) it really is necessary to find some other possibilities how to make work-life balancing easier. Because it is a dealbreaker for the parenthood. Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Czech Republic puts forward a proposal of using the alternative way of childcare in the sense of private care. But the opinion about private childcare - if it is proper, available and if it comes up our expectations - is still kind of questionable. That is why there is also an empirical part of this thesis. It includes a modest survey. The leading goal of this survey was to find the attitude of Czech parents to the alternative childcare services.
