Prefabricated reinforced concrete hall of the shipping centre
Mejvald, Martin ; Švaříčková, Ivana (referee) ; Požár, Michal (advisor)
The subject of the master thesis is the design of a reinforced concrete prefabricated hall for an expedition centre. It is a one-storey hall with a two-storey extension for administration. The proposed structure has a rectangular plan with dimensions of 78,0 × 48,0 m and a height of 13 m. A column system is chosen as the supporting structural system. In the middle row of columns, every second column is skipped to create more space for storage inside the hall, so it is a two-column hall. The building is roofed with a pre-stressed gable truss which is supported on columns and trusses. The administrative part is roofed with SPIROLL ceiling panels. The whole structure is reinforced with longitudinal and transverse concrete stiffeners, the rigidity of the structure is also ensured by steel stiffeners. The structure was modelled in SCIA Engineer, the global model was used to determine the internal forces on the individual elements of the structure. The assessment of the elements was carried out by manual calculation, in the calculation program IDEA Statica and FIN EC. The drawings were created in Tekla Structures and Cadkon+ 2023. The selected load-bearing elements of the hall structure will be addressed in the thesis.
Wooden supporting structure of a family house in Roztoky u Jilemnice
Mejvald, Martin ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Bukovská, Pavla (advisor)
This thesis is aimed at the design of wooden load-bearing structure for a detached house in the village of Roztoky u Jilemnice. It is a detached house with one storey and a living attic. The designed structure has a rectangular floor plan of 7,5 x 17 m with a height of 8 m. Glue laminated timber frames were chosen as a structural system. The building is covered by a gable roof with a 40° slope. The load bearing structure of the roof consists of wooden truss made of grown timber. The whole structure is further reinforced with steel bars. The structure was modelled in Dlubal RFEM 5.27.01, which was also used to determine the internal forces on the individual elements of the structure. The assessment of the elements was carried out in RFEM and partially verified by manual calculation. In addition, selected connections in the structure such as the bolted multi-slot connection were addressed.
