Sociological Simulator

This thesis describes the paradigm of complex systems and discusses possibilities of their modeling and simulations. The work shows the suitability of using multi-agent modeling for creating abstraction of social environment, that is one of the major complex systems. Thesis content includes an analysis of tools that are available for creating multi-agent simulators. The core of this thesis are processed research documents and a demonstrative model of social phenomenon known as procrastination.
Microarray Data Interpretation

This Bachelor thesis explains the basics of biochip or microarray data interpretation, starting with short introduction to genetics, especially genetic information significance evaluating. The focus was set mainly on the set of scripts transforming and analyzing the sample data. The data used in this thesis are a result of biochip analysis of the Colon Tumor tissues. The secondary result represents disclosing the main marker for this particular type of cancer, the primary result is evaluation of marker significance in the context of signaling pathways. The resulting pathways are sorted by relevance.

Personal wiki = Brain 2.0

Někdo si přečte vzdělávací článek, knihu či koukne na video. Mozek však většinu rychle zapomene. Někdo si udělá výpisky. Člověk se k nim ale často nikdy nevrátí... Když si ale něco přečteme, uděláme si výpisky a vzájemně je propojíme v osobní wiki (alá osobní Wikipedie), znalosti se začnou znásobovat. Tento způsob uchování informací odpovídá spojení neuronů v mozku a pomáhá získat nadhled, zdůraznit komplexní vztahy a spojit si věci, které zůstanou v lineárním textu utajené. Používám wiki pět let a považuji ji za největší konkurenční výhodu. Nyní je na čase se o tento Mozek 2.0 podělit.
