Analysis of Regulatory Requirements in Cyber Security

This thesis focuses on assessing the impact of NIS2, DORA and GDPR on regulated entities and evaluates the degree of overlap between their regulatory requirements. One of the objectives is the theoretical definition of regulatory overlaps. This overlay is then practically evaluated in the form of a GAP analysis in a selected model company, which compares the current level of cyber security, against the requirements of NIS2, DORA and GDPR. In case of non-compliance, corrective measures are proposed according to best practices. The results of the differential analysis are reflected in the application for a general assessment of the compliance rate in the assessed company.
Security of e-Commerce and Dropshipping

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of e-commerce security, in particular to the specific business model of dropshipping. The thesis is divided into two basic parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the different types of business models, including the dropshipping model, and the legal aspects related mainly to the dropshipping model. In the second, practical part, the basic goals of the dropshipping e-shop are presented, including the technologies and programming procedures used. The thesis concludes with a code analysis and security recommendations for potential future web application development.
Design of the e-Voting system and its Legal Specifics

The thesis focuses on the design of the electronic voting system and its legal specifics. The work focused on the legal aspects of electronic voting, such as voter authentication, data security and guarantee of anonymity of votes. In the theoretical part of the thesis, a survey of the historical development of e-voting and an analysis of the experience of countries that have already implemented this system was conducted. Furthermore, the thesis shows the current situation in the Czech Republic with electronic voting and analyses the relevant legislation related to this issue. The practical part of the thesis contains a concrete proposal for an electronic voting system that combines technological innovations with legal requirements.
Open Data of justice.cz and ARES

This bachelor thesis deals with public sector information, especially open data. It describes their definition, conditions, legislation and mandatory entities that are obliged to create this data. The next section deals with possible obstacles that may arise when opening, or reusing, open data. The protection of privacy and personal data is described the most. It states here what personal data is, how their processing is defined and who is the controller of personal data. In the last part, this work deals with the practical part, which aims to show how the basic way to use open data in a simple web application.
Proposal for a Non-binding Online Dispute Resolution System

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of a system for non-binding online dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on a negotiation between the parties. In the introductory part, the legal aspect and definition of the concept of online dispute resolution (ODR) is discussed, followed by an analysis of already functional platforms. Finally, a platform in the form of a website is presented, which has been developed on the basis of theoretical knowledge and analysis.
Cybercrime in the EU

This bachelor thesis deals with cybercrime in the European Union at present time. It begins with a description of the most well-known historical cybercrimes, which has helped to create cybercrime as a separate branch of crime. Subsequently, the work describes the changes that have occurred in the development of cybercrime, describes the practical problems in prosecuting cybercrime and its current trends. At the same time, it outlines the problems that arise in producing adequate statistics. The practical part of the work then describes the basic function of the application, which was created to work for the purpose of providing information on cybercrime and clear mediation of available statistical information.
Information Privacy and Open-source Intelligence

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of privacy and information privacy on the Internet. The theoretical part of the thesis describes main typologies and concludes the value of information privacy and why is it important to protect it. It presents technical tools and legal regulations used for protection. It also deals with an issue of OSINT and presents some techniques and tools for person‘s information gathering. In practical part of the thesis, there is described the development and functions provided by the application for automated information gathering from social networks.
Personal Data and Anonymisation

The Bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the issue of personal data and their anonymisation. The theoretical part specifies valid Czech and European legislative documents and also introduces the issue of anonymisation. It presents also various anonymisation methods (Pseudonymisation, Anonymisation) which can be used to create anonymized data. The practical part of this thesis is a program which is able to fulfill the requirements based on European law on a specific dataset. Outgoing „personal" data from the attached program are no longer taken as personal data.
Design of an electronic document management system

Bachelor's thesis deals with the problematics of the electronic documents, especially in the area of their archiving. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The analysis of the electronic document position in the Czech legal environment is a significant and essential part of the thesis. The analysis is included in the theoretical part of the thesis. Based on the theoretical knowledge, we created an application for the electronic document management system, which is the subject of the practical part of the bachelor's thesis. The application itself represents a repository in the accordance with § 562 paragraph 2 of the Civil Code.
Open data and personal data

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of open data and its legal collision with rights for privacy and protection of personal data. It’s purpose is to familiarize the reader with some essential terms regarding this topic and their place in Czech legislation. Practical part of this work is an application working with multiple data sets provided as open data. These data sets contain information about the number of Czech people under distraint and the ratio of people based on their education. These data sets are analyzed in the second chapter.
