Lachman, Jaroslav ; Prudká, Šárka (advisor) ; Kotýnková, Magdalena (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of unemployment in the Usti region in the years 2007-2015 and related employment policy. The aim is to analyze unemployment, evaluate the cost of active employment policies and through structured interviews to find possible solutions for regions with high unemployment, among which is also the district Teplice. Unemployment in the Usti region largely suffers from low skilled workers, that have suffered most during the crisis. Important groups with which offices try to cooperate are long-term unemployed and graduates and adolescents.Targeted programs are published for them. The most frequently used tools of the active employment policy are community service and socially useful jobs. An important tool in terms of cost seems to be retraining. Structured interviews suggest that it would be necessary to reduce staff costs and focus on education.
