Reflections of holocaust in contemporary children's literature
Kupcová, Markéta ; Činátl, Kamil (advisor) ; Fapšo, Marek (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the reflections of holocaust in contemporary Czech literature for children as a set of representations of the Czech Holocaust memory adapted specifically for a child audience. In the first chapter the thesis presents its methodological background within the field of memory studies and literary science. In particular, Gil Eyal's concept of the will to memory, whose four dimensions - the command to remember, mnemonic substance, mnemonic operations, and the function of memory - inspired the selection of chapter contents. Drawing on interviews and the authors' websites, the second chapter presents the personalities, goals, and motivations of those who implement the command to remember. In addition to the author of each work, it also traces the work of the participating illustrator. It also identifies the two significant mechanisms that influence the width of the reception of the emerging representations of the Holocaust. The third chapter introduces, following Eyal's concept, the content of works on the Holocaust for children, which relates to the reality of the subject matter - historical personalities and events. In addition, it identifies some established motifs and themes in the corpus of works. The fourth chapter examines the methods of handling the previously...

CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Markéta Kupčová Supervisor: Doc. RNDr. Miroslav Pecka CSc. Consultant: Mgr. Filip Vrbacký Title of diploma thesis: The introduction of new methods for detection of selected polymorphisms in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia treated with Imatinib mesylate. Chronic myelogenous leukemia is a hematopoetic cancer characterized by the presence BCR / ABL fusion gene with pathological tyrosine kinase activity which causes uncontrolled proliferation of cells primarily granulocytic line. Revolution in the treatment of this disease, but also in the forecast, recorded discovery of inhibitors of tyrosine kinases, which in recent years has used with great success. The first inhibitor was Imatinib mesylate, which inhibit the activity of tyrosine kinases, however in some patients could arise resistance and treatment failure, which can be caused by many factors, which include the polymorphisms in the genes responsible for the transport and metabolism of the substance. For the thesis were selected genes whose products are involved in the transport and biotransformation Imatinib mesylate. Genes ABCB1, ABCG2, SLC22A1 and CYP3A5. These genes were genotyped chosen SNP by allelic...
