It points to a lack of knowledge about health risks and side effects of hormonal contraception. The theoretical part clarified the concepts of hormonal contraception, risks and diseases in the use of hormonal contraception, adolescence and health literacy. In the empirical part, we compared the knowledge about hormonal contraception and the risks of its use in students of secondary medical schools, business academies and secondary industrial construction schools. We found out the level of knowledge about hormonal contraception, its forms, risks, undesirable when using it. We also found out the first source and level of awareness of high school students in schools.
