Measurement uncertainties determined by the Monte Carlo method
Krejčí, Roman ; Havlíková, Marie (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the determination of the uncertainties of direct and indirect measurements. It focused on the uncertainty calculation by Monte Carlo method and GUM uncertainty framework. The practical part deals with the determination of uncertainties indirect measurement of resistance Ohm’s method. The calculated uncertainties are compared on the basis of the influence of the method, accuracy used devices and the temperature.
Design of robotized workplace for die forging
Krejčí, Radek ; Zavadil, Radek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of technology for production of wheels to be manufactured by die forging 15 142 low-alloy steel at an amount of 500,000 items per year. Based on a consideration of the suitable methods of manufacture, die forging on a Jing Duann FP-1600G vertical forging press was chosen as the best, as documented by the necessary technological and design drawings. A die with inserts made of 19 552 steel was designed for this machine. In view of the volume of annual production, a fully automated workplace was designed consisting of three robots and a chain and pan conveyor. In the conclusion there was a technical-economic evaluation of costs for the material of the semi-finished products and price of dies for annual production.
Real-time Control of Ball on Wheel Model
Krejčí, Roman ; Otava, Lukáš (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with control the Ball on the wheel system in real time. In the first part there is made mathematical model of system, which is described by state equations. Then the laboratory model of Ball on the wheel system and its parts are described. The laboratory model consists servo drive, servo amplifier, microcontroller with real-time operating system and distance sensors. In the practical part of the thesis there is designed control of system by linear quadratic regulator and its implementation with control peripherals into microcontroller with real-time operating system. Ball on the wheel system is controlled by microcontroller, which sends a commands to servo amplifier by CAN bus.
Production technology of plastic carrier information
Krejčí, Radek ; Kebrle, Ondřej (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
This bachelor's diploma thesis presents a proposal for the production technology of plastic carrier information, which is produced using injection molding technology. In the general literary study, plastic materials and injection molding technologies are analyzed. In the practical part of the thesis, the material of the plastic carrier information is selected. From the calculated technological parameters, the design of the injection mold is created and a suitable injection-molding machine is selected. Finally, a technical-economic evaluation is carried out, in which the cost of producing one piece of plastic carrier information is calculated.
Study of size-resolved atmospheric aerosol using cascade impactors
Kozáková, Jana ; Schwarz, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Michal (referee) ; Krejci, Radovan (referee)
This dissertation includes two main research projects: 1) the investigation of the intermodal fraction and 2) the influence of regional air pollution transport on Ostrava. Introduction and aim of the first project. Fine and coarse particulate matter (PM) of atmospheric aerosol are considered as separate pollutants and overlap in the particle size range of about 1 - 2.5 μm (aerodynamic diameter dae; PM1-2.5) which represents the intermodal fraction. Sources of both fine and coarse fractions contribute to PM1-2.5 to different extents due to changing meteorological and spatial conditions. Therefore, there is an ongoing discussion as to whether PM1 should be included for monitoring as an additional fine particulate pollutant by the ambient air quality standard. The intrusion of the one fraction to the other one can lead to some inaccuracies in the source apportionment, epidemiological and exposure studies. The aim of the first project was to examine the associations between PM1-2.5 and the coarse (PM2.5-10 or PM>2.5)/fine (PM1) fraction under different meteorological conditions at various sites in the Czech Republic during winter and summer seasons. Introduction and aim of the second project. The EU air quality standards have been frequently exceeded in one of the European air pollution hot spots:...
Comparison of chemical composition and sources at rural background station between 1993/1994/1995 and 2009/2010: Effect of legislative measures and economic transformation on air quality.

Presented data of the chemical composition of PM2.5 from the first half of the 1990s are the basis for evaluation of legislative measures and economic development on air quality in the Czech Republic during the last two decades. The aim of this work is to compare the chemical composition and sources of PM2.5 at the rural background station, determined in 2009/2010, with the situation in 1993/1994/1995.

Comparison of PM2.5 Chemical Composition and Sources at a Rural Background Site.
Pokorná, Petra ; Schwarz, Jaroslav ; Krejčí, R. ; Swietlicki, E. ; Havránek, Vladimír ; Ždímal, Vladimír
The objective of this study is to compare the PM2.5 chemical composition and sources at a rural background site in Central Europe between the years 1993/1994/1995 and 2009/2010. Chemical analysis of PM2.5 for 29/26 elements by PIXE and water-soluble inorganic ions by IC (2009/2010) was performed. The Positive Matrix Factorization (PMF) was applied to the chemical composition of PM2.5 to identify its sources. The results of chemical analysis and source apportionment have been compared. The decrease in time of almost all elements concentrations especially the metals regulated by the EU Directive are evident. The median ratios show significant improvement in levels of analysed elements in PM2.5. Slight increase of K levels points to rise in the residential wood combustion. The apportioned sources in the years 1993/94/95 were brown coal combustion, oil combustion, dust – long-range transport, re-suspended dust/soil and black coal combustion. The industrial combustion of brown/black coal and oil of the regional origin dominated. The six factors in the years 2009/2010 were assigned as sulphate, nitrate, residential heating, industry, re-suspended dust, sea salt + dust/soil – LRT. The secondary sulphate from coal combustion and residential biomass burning of the local origin dominated.
