Analysis of Web Portal Propagation

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of Web site promotion firm TOPPEX s. r. o called Step by step to economic independence. This site was founded in 2012 and in the spring of 2013 there was an internet advertising campaign with the support of the ESF. This work performs a detailed analysis of advertising campaigns based on three independent data sources. First source were two reports of internet media (Měšec.cz and internet company iBillboard.com). Another source of data for evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the ads was Google Analytics data. The third source of data was the internal MySQL database, which captured the progress of clients in the portal. Based on the analyzes in the bachelor thesis were prepared proposals for the next web campaign for the year 2014, when the company will no longer benefit from the financial support of ESF funds. The practical part includes the price proposals, too.

Analysis and design of use of brownfield: a former secondary school in Kopřivnice

This diploma thesis is concern with issue of new utilization of brownfields in Kopřivnice. The aim of the paper is to design, on the ground of analysis, suitable way of utilization of this site. Description of whole site, analysis of discussing site and current constructing and technical condition will be made. Calculation of brownfield pricing in current and new situation will take place. In conclusion, evaluation of the design and calculation of potential costs and revenues arising from project realization will be described.

The Family house in Štramberk

This bachelor`s thesis deals with design of family house situated in the cadastral area Štramberk, region Nový Jičín. It`s a detached house standing in existing resident area. It`s designed for a family of three. The house has two floors and detached outbuilding with garage. The roof is gabled. Family house its architecture fits into the traditional architecture typical town of Štramberk.

CNB's foreign exchange intervention and their influence on foreign trade of the Czech Republic

This thesis analyzes impact of domestic currency depreciation caused by foreign exchange intervention of Czech National Bank (CNB) in November 2013 on foreign trade between Czech Republic and Eurozone. The total volume of Czech foreign trade has been growing, but in recent years Czech Republic loses price competitiveness and comparative advantage on the European market. Foreign exchange intervention promote export, but only if the J-curve occurs. Concept of the J-curve states that in the short run depreciation of domestic currency causes decrease of net export and only in the long run increase of net export. The reason is that while in the long run Marshall-Lerner condition is met, in the short run it is not. Thesis verifies the hypothesis that in the short run foreign exchange intervention lead to lower values of net export, while in the long run net export will rise and even above the values at the very beginning of the intervention. To verify this hypothesis is used method of least squares that uses monthly data from the middle of 2005 to the middle of 2015. The results of the study confirm a hypothesis of a fall in net export in the short run due to foreign exchange intervention. However, in the long run hypothesis of the growth of net export compared to the values of net export at the very beginning of the intervention is not confirmed.
