Markéta Kráčalíková Title of rigorous thesis: The study of the influence of terbinafine on glass transition temperature of polyester matrices Consultant: PharmDr. Eva Šnejdrová, Ph.D. ABSTRAKT This rigorous thesis deals with the study of the influence of terbinafine concentration on the glass transition temperature of polyester matrices. In this thesis were used linear polyester of D,L-lactic and glycolic acid (PLGA) and the polyester branched with tripentaerythritol (3T), which were synthesized in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové. It was used drug of terbinafine base. For incorporation of the drug into the polyester carrier it was chosen the method of dissolving in a suitable solvent. The solvent was ethylmethylketone. The theoretical part is focused on the solubility of drugs, description and use of classes BCS classification system, Lipinski rules of three five and characteristics, effects and use of terbinafine. CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical technology Academic year: 2012/13 Name of student: Markéta Kráčalíková Title of diploma thesis: Incorporation of active pharmaceutical ingredients into the polyester carriers Consultant: PharmDr. Eva Šnejdrová, Ph.D. ABSTRAKT This diploma thesis deals with the incorporation of drugs into the polyesters using melting method and the method of polyester dissolving in a suitable solvent. A linear polyester of D,L-lactic and glycolic acid (PLGA) and the polyester branched with tripentaerythritol (3T) with incorporated fluconazole or terbinafine base were tested. The theoretical part is focused on the characterization, evaluation and utilization of DSC methods, glass transition temperature (Tg) and residual solvents. In the experimental part the Tg of the samples processed by melting or dissolving in butanone, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate or methyl ester of formic acid was measured. The release of fluconazole or acyclovir from polyesters of PLGA and 3T processed by melting without plasticizer was studied. The amount of released drug was determined by spectrophotometry and HPLC. Práce zpracovává problematiku rozvojové spolupráce a humanitární pomoci. Daná problematika je v práci aplikovaná na konkrétních projektech dvou nejznámějších neziskových organizací, které se v této oblasti angažují, ADRY a Člověka v tísni.Cílem práce bylo sledovat a porovnat tyto organizace z mnoha aspektů a přiblížit tak odlišnosti a similarity dvou nejznámějších poskytovatelů pomoci. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na obecné seznámení s rozvojovou problematikou a vývojovými etapami, přibližuje legislativní úpravu a finanční stránku problematiky. Dále se věnuje humanitární pomoci, jejím formám a institucím angažujících se na humanitárním poli jak doma, tak v zahraničí.Stěžejní částí je poskytnutí praktického pohledu na dané odvětví případovou studií.
