Changes in everyday life, in connection with changes of military airport "Korea"

1 Annotation: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out, how has changed the daily life of the former employees of the Žatec military airport, called "Korea". The thesis focuses on the testimonies and changes in the interpretations of the livelihood of the former Žatec "Korea" Airport employees in the context of the changes that have affected the airport building. The thesis also follows the life strategies and coping ways, which did these people had at their disposal, in order to acclimatize to a new way of life and in shaping of their new life path. The scope of the thesis is also extended by the summary of how does the daily life of the former employees from this airport in the Žatec region looks like today. Research of everyday life, which I cocnlude during this work, arise from theoretical concepts of phenomenological sociology, presented by Alfred Schütz. I examine everyday life in this region through extension of this concept by elements of material culture, colective memory and social identity. Everyday life changes are observed through interview with informants, but also through analysis of Žatec weekly press. Development of Israeli Strategic Culture: Case of Abraham Accords

Since its inception, the State of Israel has faced countless existential threats it was forced to deal with. Through the frequency of these security threats and through the necessity to address them, the Strategic culture of Israel was formed in the last seventy years. The concept of Strategic culture represents a context and identity of a state in the accommodation of strategic goals and in the formulation of ways how to achieve these goals. Through Strategic culture, state political leaders were imprinted with verified patterns of behavior in formulations of national security strategies. Political leaders are therefore understood as carriers of Strategic culture and labeled as Strategic agents. The strategies of the highest order are often regarded as "Grand Strategies", which focus on the most basic and the most essential strategic goals of a state. In the essence, Grand Strategy is a sophisticated set of precisely defined strategic goals and means, but also a set of defined ways how to best utilize disposable means to achieve preset goals. In this diploma thesis, I shall attempt to approach Strategic culture as a core component of Grand Strategy.
