Healthy lifestyle of young population

The thesis is focused on the verifying if the organization occupying with support of children from troubled families fulfils its public function.
In the first part, there are clarifications and definitions of the terms such as young population, healthy lifestyle, institutions for leisure time activities, obesity and pathological effects (for instance juvenile delinquency and poor social habits). Furthermore, the thesis gives information about leisure time activities and their role in preventing negative impact of pathological behaviour of young people which is partly due to a lack of commitment in the interest groups of the young generation. The thesis is also focused on the definition of a non-profit organization, its characteristics and methods of financing.
The second part deals with the main idea of the organization, namely the Salesian Youth Center in Pilsen, mainly with its mission, history and possibilities of the leisure time activities of the young people under eighteen. There is an analysis of the organization by Bronislaw Kasper Malinowski. The objects of study are space and equipment, personnel, rules and financing of the organization, the Salesian Youth Center in Pilsen. In the conclusion, there will be evaluation of the situation if the organization fulfils its mission and the proposition of possible improvements.
