Application of multi-criterial decision-making methods in Business Intelligence
Doubrava, Jiří ; Sekničková, Jana (advisor) ; Kobzareva, Maria (referee)
Enterprise Resource Planning systems are large source of information usable for management decision--making. However, these data are often kept in incomprehensible form for common user. Especially for support of management decision--making was developed set of processes and technologies called Business Intelligence. With its tools are created comprehensible analysis. On practical example there is shown that Business Intelligence tools can be easily used for generating entry data for multi--criterial evaluation of variants. Methods of multi--criterial evaluation of variants are applied to solve the problem of a company that is forced to close some of its stores due to financial loss.
Application of ELECTRE methods in practical analyzes
Fabian, Martin ; Sekničková, Jana (advisor) ; Kobzareva, Maria (referee)
We can include a variety of methods among the discrete multi-criteria decision-making models. One of those is the ELECTRE family methods. This still evolving group contains a large number of different methods and their modifications. Based on the obtained results the methods are divided into separating, ranking and sorting methods. An important factor affecting the results of these methods besides the threshold values is also determining the weights of criteria. First part of this thesis details theoretical description of these selected methods. In practical analysis methods are applied to real data. Comparison of results at the end of the thesis is devoted mainly to examining of the sensitivity of these methods to change of the weights of criteria.
DEA models and their application in the measurement of the effectiveness of emergency medical services in different regions of the Czech Republic
Bártíková, Ivana ; Borovička, Adam (advisor) ; Kobzareva, Maria (referee)
Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a new method of multi-criteria decisions and is used to measurement effectiveness of various processes. This method will be also main subject of this thesis. There will be introduced functional principle of this method including formulations of all mathematical models in first part of thesis. Main differences between measurement of effectiveness in public and private sector will be also described. Analysis of the effectiveness of emergency medical services in different regions of the Czech Republic will be done in second part of this thesis. The data will be applied to both classic and modified models. At the end of the thesis the final results will be compared with indicators of living standard in Czech Republic and optimal solution in different regions will be proposed.
Creating an Android application with help of the nutrition problem
Havlík, Vratislav ; Kobzareva, Maria (advisor) ; Fábry, Jan (referee)
The main target of this bachelor thesis is to create an Android application. The aim of this application is to use household resources effectively with help of an optimization. The user chooses his own way of the optimization to his satisfaction. Application uses linear programming, more precisely a nutrition problem. In the first part the thesis deals with linear programming in general, in the second part the nutrition problem is introduced, the third part is dedicated to optimization of a healthy diet, in the fourth part Android application fundamentals are showed and in the final part the thesis focuses on the application itself.
Application of heuristic methods in real vehicle routing problem
Slavíková, Monika ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Kobzareva, Maria (referee)
This thesis is continuation of the bachelor thesis "Model of delivery routes and placement logistics centers with opportunities of their optimization". It is about distribution problems and specifically a vehicle routing problem. The aim of this thesis is finding a solution of the vehicle routing problem which will be used repeatedly in the firm. The main task is achieving the lowest costs (total kilometers) with maximum utilization of vehicle capacity; in such conditions that all requirements of logistics centers will be satisfied and maximal capacity of vehicle will be tolerated. For calculation was used a solver Gurobi 6.0.3 in system MPL for Windows 4.2, which won't, however, provide the optimal solution and problem solving takes too long time. Next for calculation was used heuristics insert method and is written by VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in MS Excel. Finally, there is a comparison of these methods with the original solution of the vehicle routing plan and solution of the bachelor thesis. Then the computational experiment was done, which tested effect to result, if other distribution center (starting point) will be bulit. The computational experiment was consist from heuristic insert method, solver Gurobi and heuristic saving algorithm from bachelor thesis.
Selection of investment options using the methods of decision theory
Pražák, Petr ; Borovička, Adam (advisor) ; Kobzareva, Maria (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with financial planning using the multi-criteria methods for evaluation of alternatives. The theoretical part of this work includes basic phrases of multicriteria decision making, there are concretely described the methods with the cardinal information and methods of calculation of the criteria weights. There are also exactly written the procedures how to realize mortgage loans. The reader is informed with problems of target programming and basic financial and insurance patterns. The core of this thesis is chapter four. The beginning of the fourth chapter is focused on the selection of appropriate criteria and the assignment of their weights. Most calculations are made with help of the Sanna MS Excel add-in application. Finally the author formed the financial portfolio by using software Lingo. There are established two investment options and these options are compared. The main objective of this thesis is to compare which of these two chosen options is more profitable in the long run.
Use of savings algorithm in messenger problem
Gőtz, Ondřej ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Kobzareva, Maria (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the use of heuristic methods for solving messenger problems. The first part focuses on the proposed vehicle routing problems, especially on travelling salesman problems and the messenger problems. For individual problems are theoretically discussed mathematical models for variants with one or more vehicles and the expansion of the use of time windows and capacity constraints. The second part introduces heuristic algorithms for the method of nearest neighbour, savings method, insertion method and the exchange method on the travelling salesman problems. Then all of the mentioned algorithms are modified for use in three variants of messenger problem. First, the disposition of one vehicle, the second allows more messengers in the same starting point and the last option is more messengers at different starting points. The last part describes computational experiments and comparison of results provided by different methods. The diploma thesis includes application for solving messenger problems using savings methods programmed in Visual Basic for Application in MS Excel.
Optimization of children food at the camp
Kadlecová, Kateřina ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (advisor) ; Kobzareva, Maria (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on a diet optimization of the children's summer camp cuisine in accordance with the standards placed on the nutritional food composition as well as on the equipment and possibilities of the local kitchen. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the description and the structure of the operational research problem. Whereas the aim of the empirical part was to model the problem as a task of the linear as well as the goal programming. Both these tasks were solved in the LINGO software. The results were exported into MS Excel and then added to the text of the present thesis as the tables of resulting menus. The present thesis identifies the nutritional value and composition of 43 dishes. The list of these dishes served as the input file used for the modelations mentioned above.
Heuristic methods for messenger problem
Kobzareva, Maria ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Pelikán, Jan (referee)
This work describes static and dynamic problems with one messenger or multiple number of messengers and suggests a possibility of solving such problems with modified heuristic methods. To solve messenger problem, modified nearest neighbor heuristic, modified insertion heuristic and modified exchange heuristic are used. The main contribution of this work are applications, developed in MS Excel, programmed with Visual Basic for Application, that can solve static and dynamic problems with one messenger or multiple number of messengers and that could be beneficial for companies that do business in messenger services.
Modelling of demand for recreational center
Kobzareva, Maria ; Macáková, Libuše (advisor) ; Breňová, Lubomíra (referee)
Basic determinant comparison of demand for recreational centers of the Czesky raj region, measure the influence of every determinant of demand on the demand for particular recreational center, modelling of an "ideal" recreational center, witch determinants will draw together in combination, witch would bring maximalization of centers popularity and profit.
