The relationship between the Development of Macroeconomic Indicators and the Capital Market in CR

This Master's thesis is focused on an assessment of development on the capital market in the Czech Republic in the context of development of macroeconomic indicators. There are used correlation and regression analyses which indicate power of relation between variables and determine regression models. These regression models are used to predict future values. There are a gross domestic product, an unemployment rate, a consumer price index, a national deficit, an exchange rate CZK/EUR and interest rates (2W repo rate, a discount, a Lombard rate and PRIBOR) used as independent variables. Representatives of the capital market are a stock market index PX and a 10-Years Bond Yield, which are dependent variables. There is also a mention of the existence of relation between the Czech and foreign development because of globalization.

Programme reporters of czech television , self-censorship and situation ethics in investigative programme

Bachelor thesis entitled Program 'Czech TV Reporters': Auto-Censorship and Situation Ethics analyzes how journalists of the publicity program 'Czech TV Reporters' proceed when producing their reports. The program aired by a public service broadcaster aims to uncover socio-political issues and cases in the Czech society through investigative journalism. In this work, the reporters face various challenges with regards to the Czech TV ethical code and find different ways how to overcome these issues. The first part of the thesis outlines the basic factual information about the program, discusses program's beginnings including all of its initial setbacks up to the current form as one of the most prominent programs of Czech investigative journalism. The thesis analyzes interesting cases that were broadcasted in this program like for instance a report on investigation of member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Wolf which led to the fall of Mirek Topolanek's government. The thesis also depicts the development of program's ratings and different prizes awarded to its reporters. The following section sketches out the existing theories on this issue. A Yield and Risk Evaluation of Representative Commodities on the World Market

The topic of the bachelor thesis is a yield and risk evaluation of representative commodities on the world market. A literary work is focused on terms as commodities and a financial market. Commodities are divided into groups and the term of stock exchange is defined there. In the second part, there are mentioned terms as an investment, yield, risk, liquidity and connections among them. Furthermore there is paid attention to an analysis of time series. Following parts are analyses of commodities price development, evaluation of seasonality and a risk evaluation. The part after is about an exchange rate for Euro to U.S. Dollar.
