Segmentation of 3D medical images based on region growing method
Kantorová, Martina ; Krátká, Lucie (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This bachalor thesis deals with a region growing approach for segmentation of volumetric medical images. The aim is to present basic methods of segmentation of image data and to focus in particular on the approach of region growing. The input data are brain slices of magnetic resonance imaging which can be visualized using the browser into the three basic planes. The viewer is implemented in MATLAB programming environment. Image segmentation is realized by seeded region growing.
Synthesis of SiO2/Au core/shell nanoparticles for enhancement of OCT signal
Kantorová, Martina ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Drbohlavová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is synthesis of SiO2/Au core/shell nanoparticles. These nanoparticles should improve the signal of optical coherence tomography (OCT). The procedure of nanoparticle synthesis is described in the work. Synthetized nanoparticles were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Ultraviolet-Visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Dynamic light scattering (DLS). Then, the synthetized nanoparticles were tested for enhancement of OCT signal. For this testing were also used commercial nanoparticles with the same structure and similar size.

Brand management of Dalkia on energetic market
Konečný, Jonáš ; Halík, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kantorová, Martina (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of branding and brand management. The analysis is practically applied on the brand of the Czech energetic firm Dalkia. The thesis describes instruments and methods theoretically and practically used by Dalkia. Author ends this work by practical research about the image of the brand and giving summarized recommendations.
