Local Bird Names and Their Standard Name Equivalents

Resumé Práce si klade za cíl provést podrobnou, především synchronní, analýzu pojmenování ptáků v angličtině. Korpus pro analýzu tvoří současná pojmenování ptáků ze tří stylistických a funkčních rovin: standardní pojmenování, užívaná pro oficiální a odbornou komunikaci, lidová pojmenování mající pouze regionální valenci, a žargonová pojmenování užívaná těmi, pro něž se pozorování ptáků stalo zálibou. Zdrojem pro standardní pojmenování je oficiální seznam ptáků The British List kompletovaný Britskou ornitologickou unií. Pro lidová pojmenování je zdrojem publikace The Oxford Dictionary of British Bird Names od W. B. Lockwooda (1993), a pro žargonová pojmenování jsou to internetová fóra určená zájemcům o ornitologii. Korpus pro hlavní analýzu celkem tvoří 884 pojmenování ptáků, z toho je 205 standardních pojmenování, 595 lidových pojmenování a 84 žargonových pojmenování. Těžiště práce leží ve dvou hlavních kapitolách, Motivation a Analysis. V kapitole Motivation rozlišuji tři typy motivace - morfologickou, sémantickou a fonetickou. V rámci těchto motivací se zabývám procesy, které se na vzniku pojmenování ptáků podílejí. Possibilities of Cloud Computing application in public administration on the example of Czech diplomatic missions

Cloud Computing is currently frequently discussed concept. Access to IT via a web browser is increasingly desired means of providing information and communication technology across the whole society, public administration included. This thesis focuses on the possibilities of Cloud Computing employment in the Czech Republic's Public Administration, specifically on the example of Czech diplomatic missions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to which they are directly subordinated. As a starting point the comparison with the United States, thw Great Britain, Australia, Switzerland, Japan and the European Union is taken. These examples demonstrate that Cloud Computing can work in public administration and that it will remain a trend prevalent in government offices on a global scale. Equally important is the comparison with the situation within the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic, which has already been using Cloud Computing services for couple of years. Based on the comparison with all above mentioned countries, with the Ministry of the Interior and given the international, European and national legal requirements, potential cloud services for email communication and document management system are identified to be envisaged for diplomatic missions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Optimalization of the chosen supply chain in the range of food-processing assortment

The aim of this thesis is the optimalization of chosen supplier chain from the point of view of material and informational flow, description of critical factors and a proposal for optimalization of the whole system from the point of view of logistic service and expenses. This thesis is devided into several parts. In the first part there are quoted some sources dealing with the topic of the thesis. In the second part present company functioning is described from the point of view of informational and material flow. These were analyzed within the conpany as well as between the company and the other parts of the chain. After evaluation of the results from the second part I tried to describe critical factors, which make the third part of the thesis. Ten critical factors were analyzed. The main part of the thesis is made by proposals for removing these critical factors.
