Predicting spark-ignition engine emissions
Jirout, Petr ; Böhm, Michael (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the possibility of predicting emissions of SI engines. The aim was to create an algorithm for predicting unburned hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide, based on ECU signals. The algorithm is based on practical experiments with SI engines. In the summary, the issues and the possible use of the created algorithm following the incorporation of EU7 are outlined.
User Impact in Social Networks
Jirout, Petr ; Otrusina, Lubomír (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of a system for social media analysis. This system provides a way of identifying social media user's influence. The system has been open sourced under the MIT license and is designed to be easily extensible. Example usage of this system is demonstrated for a chosen use case of analysing several selected Czech individuals and political parties which are active on the Facebook social network. The thesis compared their influence and activity. A new way of activity and influence prediction has been proposed, based on the identification of dedicated users.

Jirout, Petr ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes the common principles of Continuous Integration process. Some of the principles were implemented and deployed in the existing project, OpenScape 4000 Manager, which is being developed by Unify GmbH & Co. KG. The selected concepts are: speed up the compilation, integration testing of changes via compilation and the process results reporting. An analysis of a current state had been undertaken and a tool had been developed to support process deployment as described in this thesis.
Suspension Systems of Military Vehicles
Jirout, Petr ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses different systems of suspension, springing and damping of military vehicles. It also deals with commonly used systems of springing and damping, its advantages and disadvantages and shows practical examples of constructional solutions of such systems in vehicles used by the military. The thesis debates the use of electronical systems of suspension for military vehicles.
