Looking for the synagogue of Tabor. Life of Jewish Community as a subject matter for the weekend drama project

This thesis deals with a Jewish theme for a project focusing upon drama in education. The Jewish issue is introduced through regional history of where the participants live allowing them to connect this topic with the place. The thesis includes a description of a project, which involved children from Tabor who had minimal experience with drama in education. The aim of the project is to introduce the life and fate of Jews from Tabor and to make the participants familiar with Jewish culture through drama in education. A part of this Thesis constitutes background information, which is necessary for the project. Included is a description of Jewish Holy days; Sabbath and Hanukkah.
