The prevention of the anemia development during malignant diseases therapy

The introduction of this work explains the importance of aknowledging the process of diagnostics and a treatment of the cases with an anemia during malignant diseases. The predictive factors of the anemia development and the general condition negative effects are presented. The chapter two brings the definition of an anemia, how to evaluate the blood count and the biochemical examination, tells the compensational mechanisms of the organism and describes the clinical features of the developed anemia. The chapter three presents the causes of the anemia during malignant diseases and classifies them into separate groups according to the pathophysiological and morphological classification. The prevalence rates of the individual types of the anemia are mentioned as the study ECAS - 04 (European Cancer Anaemia Survey) of the anemia according to the chosen treatment represents. The chapter four and five describes the various types, etiology, clinical features, diagnostics, treatment and prevention of the various types of the anemia. The outcome tells the possibilities of prevention and treatment of the anemia during malignant diseases.

The Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (epidemiology, trends and possibilities for prevention)

Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas as lymphoproliferative disease are among the cancer is still increasing incidence. According to the World analysis is the high incidence observed mainly in developed countries than in development, which could suggest that also applies to the modern way of life. In the Czech Republic recorded a similar trend increasing incidence. In 2002, non-Hodgkin's tumors reached the 11th place in the incidence of individual tumors in the Czech Republic. From the etiological point of view it is typically multifactorial diseases, but some of the units are associated with inducing causes. Other factors include environmental influences. Diagnosis of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is a very challenging and with it the very limited possibilities of prevention. The aim of this work is to show the trend of increasing incidence and world in the Czech Republic resulting from epidemiological studies. Furthermore, using data Registry of Cooperative Lymphoma Study Group (Czech Lymphoma Study Group - CLSG) outline the situation of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma overall frequency and distribution various types of NHL. To point out the particular characteristics related to the types of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.
Management of febrile neutropenia

Neutropenia is a severe and very frequent complication of anticancer chemotherapy. Febrile neutropenia is a serious consequence of neutropenia caused by cancer chemotherapy, often leads to hospitalization, need of parenteral antibiotics and lethal end. The therapy hematologic malignancies are developing febrile neutropenia almost all patients, the treatment of solid tumors is affected by the presence of complications in about 10 to 20 percent. Lately, especially in the last two decades, there has been a significant progress in the prevention and treatment of this dreaded complication main contribution was undoubtedly the introduction of growth factors granulocytopoezy. Historical overview, see chapter this work. This work aims to comprehensively discuss the febrile neutropenia caused by cancer chemotherapy in particular, pursue development opportunities prophylaxis and therapy and also compare best practices in different departments dealing with these deal with complications. The last section is devoted to economic aspects of therapy of febrile neutropenia growth factors granulocytopoezy.
