Hydraulic analysis of the Brno – Ivanovice water supply system
Tranová, Kateřina ; Janča, Štěpán (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
This diploma´s thesis aims to model the hydraulic model of the Brno – Ivanovice water supply system. The software MIKE URBAN for model hydraulic model of water supply system was used. It was performed a simulation of the various states of loading. The water supply system was assessment of pressure ratios. The outcome of this work is calibrated hydraulic model of water supply system. The appendix consists also of drawings, which represented pressure ratios, which are situated on water supply system. On the fourth drawing is described transparent situation of Brno-Ivanovice water supply system.
Discoloration events in the water-supply networks
Janča, Štěpán ; Kocůr, Pavel (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to summarize the available knowledge on the occurrence and formation of turbidity in the water supply system and the design and application of methodology for measuring the potential occurrence of turbidity in the water supply. Problems of the current state of the quality of drinking water in public water supply systems, with a focus on the occurrence of cataract formation turbidity legislative change indicators of drinking water in the Czech Republic and abroad, and potential methods of measuring turbidity is discribed in the first part of the thesis. In the second part of the paper is a methodology for measuring the potential of turbidity in the water supply network. The methodology is applied in the case study Hrbová pressure zone, which is part of the distribution network of city Vsetin. The case study of the thesis is a statistical analysis and mathematical model of consumption of pressure zone Hrbová.
Variant solution of sewerage in the town of Štoky
Pellarová, Tereza ; Janča, Štěpán (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis follows up a variant assessment of wastewater removal and treatment for the local settlement Zvonějov in the township of Štoky. The work presents the variants of sewerage and wastewater treatment: a new sewage network with a new sewage treatment plant for the settlement of Zvonějov, a new sewage network with a sewage pumping station with pressure sewer for the settlement of Zvonějov with an outflow into the existing sewage network in the township Štoky, and a decentralized method of wastewater treatment with the aid of residential wastewater treatment plants with online transmission to the operator's control room. In the first part of the thesis, a description of the locality is given, the local plan of the village is analysed, as well as the plan for the development of water supply and sewerage systems. Part of the first part of the thesis is a hydrotechnical appraisal of the existing wastewater treatment plant Štoky, which serves as a material for the assessment of Variant II. The second part of the thesis deals with particular variants sewerage and wastewater treatment. In each variant, a technical solution, an economic evaluation, and a calculation of the Net Present Value (NPV) are proposed. Finally, the results are compared, and the pros and cons of the variants are presented.
