Influence of concentration of surfactant component and temperature on interactions between hyaluronan and katanionic vesicular systems

The influence of various concentrations of surfactant component and various temperatures on interactions of hyaluronan with catanionic vesicular systems were examined using isothermal titration calorimetry. The measurements were performed at two different concentrations of surfactant component and three temperature values. The reason for studying the interactions was to explore the possibility of these systems serving as carriers of drugs in the future. Catanionic vesicular systems consisted of a cationic surfactant CTAB, an anionic surfactant SDS and of a positively charged two-chain surfactant DODAC. The solution of negatively charged hyaluronan with concentration of 0,5 mM was used for all measurements.

Effect of different type and crosslinking density of polyethylene glycol hydrogels on transport and sorption properties

The main goal of this work was to study the transport and sorption properties of polyethylene glycol (PEG) hydrogels with different types and densities of cross-linking. Before characterizing these properties it was necessary to optimize the preparation of selected hydrogels including the study of mechanical properties using rheological measurements. A significant part of the work, therefore, consists of the optimization of PEGDA-thiol hydrogels created from 4-arm polyethylene glycol-thiol (PEG-4SH) and polyethylene glycol diacrylate PEGDA by step-growth polymerization. To compare the transport and sorption properties of another type of crosslinking, PEGDA hydrogels were prepared using radical polymerization. In the transport experiments, the sorption and desorption of the Rhodamine 6G dye were monitored using free diffusion. Molecular absorption spectrometry (UV/VIS) was used to characterize the course of these experiments. The structure of these gels was compared using scanning electron microscopy.

The thesis deals with the search of the company market value - Madeta, PLC. The introduction presents the basic data about the company - its history and current business. The strategic analysis evaluates the chances and risks at the market and also company competitive position in the branch. The financial analysis examines the financial health of the company and at the same time it serves as the basis for the financial plan. The objective of these analyses is to verify or overcome the presumption of the perpetual existence the company. The analysis and prediction of value generators focuses on the chief enterprise quantities prognosis that determine the business value. This part also provides the numeral basis for the final estimation. The conclusion presents the result company value and the methods evaluation.
