The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is an analysis of current levels of employee motivation in XY s. r. o. company and a proposal to develop an motivational program. This analysis focuses primarily through a questionnaire survey on employee satisfaction in the company and used motivational tool. The bachelor’s thesis proposes improvements to incentive program to improve productivity and effectiveness of the organization based on needs assessment of staff.

The impact of value addition to fresh mangoes on the Socio-economic development of small scale mango farmers in Ghana

This diploma thesis aims to analyse the possibilities of processing the mangoes that farmers in Ghana regularly discard. Furthermore, it demonstrates, that by adding a value to the mango processing industry, the income of a farmer in Ghana could be considerably increased, leading to higher standard of living. The practical part of the thesis is based on literature research and introduces a business plan for the mango jam production in the Eastern Region, using simple and technologically undemanding processes. The study also provides economic calculations and overall project assessment. The estimated socioeconomic impacts of processing the mango surplus on the farmer can be found at the end of the thesis.

The role of the radiologist assistant in brachytherapy

The thesis deals with the description of the role and procedure of a radiographer at individual types of brachytherapeutical applications. It summarizes the history of brachytherapy, its division according to the localization of the source of ionizing radiation, according to the length of irradiation and the dose rate of the source. It describes the principle of both manual and remote afterloading, it indicates the sources of ionizing radiation and used values and units. It deals with individual types of brachytherapy - interstitial, intracavitar, intraluminal and surface ones, describes their application at existing types of tumour diseases and specifies the workload of particular members of brachytherapeutical team at applications.
