The Importance of Mariage from the Perspective of Students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of Univeristy of South Bohemia in České Budějovice HODINKOVÁ, Kateřina Marriage can act as a foundation stone for creating home and solid background that each and every one of us needs. Next to marriage there are other types of partner cohabitations. For example unmarried cohabitation, registered partnership, separate cohabitation etc. These types are together with other chapters (family, divorce, social work with family during divorce etc.) described in theoretical part of thesis. The goal of this thesis was finding out meaning of marriage to students of Health and Social and Science Faculty of South Bohemian University and furthermore finding out position of these students towards marriage from gender perspective. Quantitative strategy and method of questioning with creation of my own questionnaire was used as a research of my thesis. Two hypotheses were set for finding out these goals. MS Excel was used for evaluating data gained from descriptive statistics and statistical program IBM SPSS was used for statistical evaluation of both hypotheses. A two sample T-test was used for testing of hypothesis number 1 and hypothesis number 2 was tested by binominal test. First hypothesis examined if marriage has greater importance for male or for female students and second hypothesis examined if students prefer unmarried cohabitation over marriage. The results showed that marriage has almost identical importance for male and female students and also that students prefer marriage over unmarried cohabitation. These findings can contribute to different statistics or they can be used in sociology of family lessons. Detailed record

Elderly volunteering for active aging. The possibilities of involvement for older people in Liberec region Hodinková, Kateřina ; Kodymová, Pavla (advisor) ; Holda, Dalibor (referee) Téma této diplomové práce vychází z dlouhodobého zájmu o sociální práci se seniory a rovněž o dobrovolnictví, které mě cestou dobrovolnických programů nakonec přivedlo k současné práci koordinátorky dobrovolnického programu "Pro seniory" v Regionálním dobrovolnickém centru Ještěd, o.s. v Liberci. Tento program usiluje o podporu plnohodnotného života seniorů prostřednictvím zapojení dobrovolníků do péče o seniory v Libereckém kraji a zároveň poskytuje seniorům příležitost k aktivnímu trávení volného času a snaží se podporovat jejich začlenění do života společnosti. Myšlenku zpracovat práci věnující se dobrovolnictví seniorů podpořil ještě více zahraniční pobyt ve Francii. Díky programu Erasmus na Université de Picardie de Jules Veme ve městě Amiens, jsem během mého pobytu měla možnost absolvovat stáž v organizaci AGIR abcd. Tato oragnizace sdružovala seniory, kteří jako dobrovolníci předávali své zkušenosti v dalších organizacích. Idea zapojení dobrovolníků seniorů, kterou jsem se zabývala již dříve, mi přišla velmi zajímavá, a proto jsem se rozhodla toto téma zpracovat. Teoretická část práce podává ucelený pohled na problematiku stárnutí.
