The main purpose of this bachelors thesis is to introduce value of quality of life in microregions Nechranicko and Šumavské podhůří. Due to a remarkable diversity of those two microregions I want to investigate the difference of impact in the mean of local and regional aspects. In the first part I am going to deal with the concept "quality of life" and the method of its evaluation and measure in these two microregions (demografical, social and economical terms). In the second part of my thesis I am going to valorize the size of influence of local and regional differentiation on these two regions and measured quality of life. I am going to use data from Czech Statistical Office, Regional Information Service, own empirical research and available literature, which follows up this issue.
