The diploma thesis defines specific forms of self-assessment of the company Kingspan, corp. The self-assessment deals primarily with the evaluation of business performance using the START model, which falls under the EFQM excellence model. The matter of the work is conceived in three main chapters. The first chapter defines the theoretical background, the second part contains an analysis of the company, and the last chapter contains proposals and solutions to eliminate shortcomings.

In the second part, the analytic one, a business environment, potential customers and competition is analyzed. My practical draft of setting up this business and conclusions are described step by step in the third part of the thesis.
