Absolutely continuous function and functions of bounded variation
Hladký, Filip ; Hencl, Stanislav (advisor) ; Kurka, Ondřej (referee)
In this thesis we will study relationship between space of absolutely continuous func- tions and space of functions with bounded variation. In first three chapters we will study properties of absolutely continuous functions and functions with bounded variation and we will show nessesary and sufficient condition for functions with bounded variation to be absolutely continuous. Moreover we will show one part of fundamental theorem of calculus for Lebesgue's integral. In the last chapter we will study relationship between absolutely continuous mappings and mappings with bounded variation from Rn to Rm. 1
Určování textury povrchu obráběné součásti

The topic of the bachelor thesis is Determining the texture of the surface of the machined component I've dealt with the explanation of the basic concepts from the field of surface texture and detailed research of different methods of ma-chining. This is followed by a description of the methods for measurement of pa-rameter roughness Ra. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis are insights from the theoretical part are applied to the specific case of the measurement of the parameter of roughness for the three different components.

Photography and Memory - Karel Absolon
Hladký, Filip ; Pospiszyl, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dias, Pavel (referee)
The object of my work is the personality of Karel Absolon (1877-1960), researcher from Brno. Among other things, Absolon carried out research work of the Moravian karst region. The main interest focuses on Absolon´s descents to the bottom of the Macocha abyss, and particularly on his photograpic and popularizing activities, unprecedented in the then society. Soon he came to understand the role and possibilities of the photographic medium which he used with the aim of promoting not only his research work, but also himself. Absolon did not perceive himself as a photographer but rather a scientist, however his photographic work reached a very high level, both technical and artistic. He was also able to use the potential of the new medium to its full extent. Absolon´s photographic pictures became a sensation. Their scientific and romantic nature held the attention of the audience and gave them the feeling of sharing the adventure of discovering the unknown together with the author. However, Absolon´s enthusiasm about photography was directly related to his research work, and thus it is necessary to understand his legacy in this context.
