Wideband antenna for the frequency range from 5 GHz to 10 GHz
Hebelka, Vladimír ; Oliva, Lukáš (referee) ; Řezníček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The design and manufacturing of a wideband bow-tie antennas for the frequency range from 5GHz to 10GHz are described on this thesis. In the first part of this thesis is decsribe a several type of bow-tie antennas. Next part provides the design of bow-tie antennas and optimalization in CST microwave studio software. At the end of the thesis are compare simulation results and measured results of bow-tie antennas.
Patch antenna with EBG substrate
Cepek, Tomáš ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Hebelka, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to describe EBG substrate and exminate his influence on some types of antennas and choose one of them for realization. In first part this thesis describes the paramaeters of antenna in generall, in the second part is dedicated to introduction with EBG substrate mainly on the surface with the high impedance (HIES). The third part deals with the simulations of microstrip patch antennas with EBG substrate and without EBG substrate. In the last parts was designed and optimized antenna using superstrate.
Antennas for energy transmission along the car roof
Škoda, Adam ; Hebelka, Vladimír (referee) ; Vélim, Jan (advisor)
The presented master’s thesis deals with antennas transmitting energy along conductive materials. Surface waves are used for energy transmission. According to its properties, the horn antenna was chosen for the problem solution. This thesis includes the theoretical analysis of surface waves, waveguides and horn antennas. The concept of antennas includes the comparison of two different materials and two different frequencies. From the set of 8GHz antennas, the structure of two antennas where one wearing the other was chosen as the most suitable. The FoamClad material was also selected due to achievement of better parameters and properties then material CuClad. This structure was designed by two identical horn antennas where the energy between them is transmitted via slot. The suitable feeding and parallel plates were designed, and further the current structure was modified to SIW structure. The designed antenna was manufactured and its properties were measured for further comparison with simulation results. Furthermore, achieved differences between simulated and real antenna are discussed.
Panel Antennas for Band 5,6 GHz
Hebelka, Vladimír ; Polívka,, Milan (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the design of panel antennas for band 5,6 GHz. Antennas have been examined and optimized with a view to impedance, broadband and directional characteristics by using designing software CST Design Environment. Optimized antennas were produced, and their measured parameters achieved required values.
Square type fractal antenna
Roháček, Peter ; Všetula, Petr (referee) ; Hebelka, Vladimír (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with analysis of fundamental parameters of antennas and methods of fractal construction. Attention is turn on microstrip antennas, where are discussed the basic properties, the pros and cons, methods of construction, power options and a demonstration of the theoretical proposal. These supporting documents were used for the actual design and optimization of the square fractal antenna in CST Microwave Studio program, which was subsequently implemented.
Antennas for Wireless Body Area Networks
Rectangular patch atenna for the frequency band 60 GHz
Hubka, Patrik ; Hertl, Ivo (referee) ; Hebelka, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is design and build rectangular patch antenna for 60 GHz band, matched to 50 Ohms. First section described general knowledges about microstrips antennas and technologies for 60 GHz band. Second section introduced rectangular patch antenna feeded by miscrostrip line matched by quarter wave transformer on CuClad 217 substrate. Third section introduced two structural modification of rectangular patch antenna and measurements of return loss |S11|.
