Manipulation in the pedagogical interaction - Teacher as a victim of manipulation
Harder, Petra ; Valenta, Josef (referee) ; Koťa, Jaroslav (referee)
The overwhelming majority of the public has very distorted beliefs about the teaching profession and in addition to that, the public shows the tendency to blame the teachers even for those problems which fall outside the scope of their authority. In spite of the fact that the pedagogical interaction is influenced by many factors and that it never concerns a one-way process, society refuses to admit any joint responsibility in the upbringing and educating of the next generation. Instead of offering a helping hand, the work of almost every teacher is to a large extent made more difficult if not directly wasted by the interference of many external and internal factors, which is reflected in negative way in the entire system of our education. Unless society becomes conscious of how important and challenging the teaching profession is and does not secure better working conditions for all teachers, not only the teachers themselves will be the victims of very dissatisfactory conditions in our educational system, but all participating parties who join the pedagogical interactions.
