The bachelor thesis focuses on online shopping in the Czech Republic. The literary research defines basic terms, including Internet, e-commerce, Internet commerce, Internet
marketing, also includes legislation in this sector. Furthermore are mentioned assumptions for success an online store, the content of websites and search engine optimization. The practical part of bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of the original condition of surveyed e-shop Spotřebiče s.r.o., in terms of website traffic, accessibility and usability. There is also evaluated promotion of company on the Internet. Another part is based on found flaws and includes suggestions for a new business strategy for improving the online store. The suggestions consists of new graphical solution of website for improving the usability and advertising campaign to increase sales.
