The Role of Integration Centers in the Frame of Integration Policy of the Czech Republic

The main aim of this bachelor thesis The Role of Integration Centers in the frame of integration policy of the Czech Republic is to describe and compare the position of integration centers operating in the Czech Republic. The thesis examines and compares the activities of integration centers working as non-profit organizations with the Centers for Support of Integration of Foreigners which are established by the state. It describes an integration policy in the Czech Republic, which aims to prevent the creation of closed communities of immigrants, a social isolation and a social exclusion of foreigners. The research was made as a multiple case study. The main target of this research was to find out how the integration centers contribute from the perspective of their employees to the process of integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic, mainly through the services provided and their promotion. The research found out essential problems of the Czech Republic's integration policy for foreigners from third countries.
