Sheep breeding in conditions organic and conventional farming
HOMOLKOVÁ, Monika
Sheep husbandry has been rising for a long time in the Czech Republic. The number of flocks of sheep has been increasing gradually, which is an evidence of their popularity among breeders. Thanks to the hardiness of sheep, their breeding is mostly concentrated in the mountaneous an submontaneous areas where they are utilized not only for prime meat or milk production but also for mainaining the landscape. The goal of my thesis is to evaluate sheep husbandry at two farms managed under conventional and ecological conditions respectively, in the submontaneous area of Southern Bohemia. The distance between the two farms is approximately 1.5 km. The same indicators ( ewe reproduction, flock management, nutrition, pasture methods and system of breeding) were examined at both farms. The data were observed during the period of two years ? 2011 and 1012.
Analysis of the conditions for organic and conventional farming
HOMOLKOVÁ, Monika
In the Czech Republic, the number of enviromentally oriented agricultural farms is continuosly increasing, particulary in less favoured areas. Objective of this Bachelor thesis is to identify and assess the conditions for different approaches to farming - conventional and organic - using a specific example of two farms in southern Bohemia. The farms ares separated approximately by 1.5km. Based on relevant sources, basic farming conditions for the two farms were identified and compared.Identical indicators were monitored at both farms (legislation, inspection system, conditions for granting subsidies, soil treatment, livestock breeding and care and produced products - food, organic food). The data was monitored over a period of two years 2009 and 2010.
The proposal of tourism development project - Velešín
HOMOLKOVÁ, Monika
The main target of the Diploma Thesis was to develop situational analyses of progressing tourism in Velešín. To determine marketing aims, to choose marketing strategy and to build up marketing plan. On this base there has been evolved a proposal of a concrete project of tourism development in Velešín. The partial targets were to create the city Velešín for tourists and local inhabitants more attractive in tourism area and to make the city Velešín more visible. In 2008 there were negotiations with River basin Vltava (Povodí Vltavy s.p.) about accessing to some localities for regardful tourism which ended up successfully. The condition for usage of new available localities is to construct paths for pedestrians and to provide information for tourists. Based on that fact there was established a project. Its target was to create a touristic route along accessible places in close proximity of Římov´s dam and to install educational boards with texts and photographs on views. The photographs would give evidence about how the place looked like before Římov´s dam was built up.
