Geoprocessing services in internets environment from view of ArcGIS Abstract The aim of this work was explore problems creating geoprocessing services in software of firm ESRI. In first section of bachalors work was pursued literature search, that is engaged in geoprocessing services. It's introduced summary projects and use cases, that implement geoprocessing services in spatial data infrastructure. It's solving in the work creation geoprocessnig services in environments of products firm ESRI. With use ArcGIS server is created map and geoprocessing service. Designing data model concept for management and organization at the sphere of logistic system

This thesis is divided into two thematic parts. The first one targets geodatabes design process. The second section of thesis contains application of graph algorithms over the final data model. The goal of the first section is to design a data model. In the first step of data modeling process all the available data information is organized at the conceptual data model. On grounds of conceptual data model is built-up logical data model. Logical scheme is transformed to physical design of personal geodatabase. Final data model design follows all data modeling rules through the data model process. The goal of second section of this thesis is to realize graph algorithms over the data model. The application of graph algorithms over the network contributes to efficiency of organization and management at the sphare of logistic system. These algorithms will apply through ESRI extension Network Analyst. Functionality of data model will be verified on the basis of this part. ENG ABSTRACT CREATION OF A GEOINFORMATION WEB REGION ČESKÝ MERÁN The main aim of this work is a creation of the geo-information portal of the Czech Meran area. The portal includes the map application developed using Google Maps API. All parts of the work will be available on the internet. The final version of the application will serve as a publicly accessible touristic information, which provide comprehensive information on routes and points of interest in the Czech Meran area. The work consists of three parts. The first one is the terrain exploration of mapped area, the second part is the analyze of Google Maps API capabilities for this work and last part is the own creation of custom map application and all parts of geo-information portal.

Application of GIS in water management in Dobříšsko

Application of GIS in water management in Dobříšsko Abstract This thesis deals with the use of the geoinformation systems (GIS) in water management. The change of water resources (river network, water areas and wetlands) in Dobříšsko region over the last 150 years is analyzed here. This analysis was processed by using historical maps of the 2nd military mapping, 3rd military mapping, maps of the General Staff of the Czechoslovak army from the 1950s of the 20th century and the current database of hydrological and water management data called DIBAVOD. Then the issue of water accumulation in the region is solved by using hydrological tools provided by the software ArcGIS 9.3. All created data are stored in a geodatabase and they will serve for needs of a company Vodohospodářská společnost Dobříš. Keywords: GIS, water management, hydrologic modelling

The design of an up-to-date meteorologic situation web portal with the use of satellite images

The aim of this master thesis is to create a web portal with the presentation of up-to-date Meteosat images and accompanying aplications. The web portal is intended for a "common" user. It will contain a registry of events which are interesting in terms of meteorology (storms, various types of clouds, etc.) as well as descriptions of different meteorologic situations and objects in images. Except for the presentation of the images, this web portal will provide its users with a database of previous images, which can be displayed, links to other websites with a similar topic, informations about the satellite where these images were taken from and the opportunity to display the images of interesting or rare processes.
