Carbon nanoparticles from South Moravian lignite
Drozdová, Miroslava ; Enev, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pekař, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of isolation of carbon nanoparticles from lignite, which seems to be their cheap source. The aim of this work is to elaborate a research on the use of coal matrices as a source of carbon nanoparticles and also to design and perform further experiments testing the usability of South Moravian lignite. Based on the literature search, a simple mechanochemical procedure was proposed to obtain carbon nanoparticles from lignite. The lignite was mechanically stressed by the ultrasonic disintegrator with simultaneous action of water or hydrogen peroxide. Lignite has been able to isolate particles fluorescing in the blue visible light, but the process will need to be further modified. However, South Moravian lignite could be a source of carbon nanoparticles.
South-Moravian lignite as a source of carbon nanoparticles
Drozdová, Miroslava ; Taraba, Boleslav (referee) ; Pekař, Miloslav (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with isolating carbon nanoparticles from South Moravian lignite using "green" – environmentally friendly methods. This method consists of mechanical-chemical-thermal stressing of lignite using ultrasound, hydrogen peroxide and high temperatures. This work aims to develop recommendations on coal as a source of carbon nanoparticles and based on these recommendations, to design procedures for isolating nanoparticles from South Moravian lignite using environmentally friendly methods. The identified procedures were designed to meet carbon-based particles with an oxidized surface. From the results we can deduct that it is possible to use South Moravian lignite for the preparation of carbon nanoparticles. However, it will be necessary to modify the process further and also to optimize the purification of the obtained particles.

Norway and Botswana as exceptions to the theory of the curse of natural resources
Drozdová, Miroslava ; Kučerová, Irah (advisor) ; Parízek, Michal (referee)
This thesis compares Norway, Botswana and Venezuela and their sovereign wealth funds. The first two countries are referred to as exceptions to the theory of the resource curse, which explains the phenomenon that shows that countries with a high dependence on income from the export of natural resources have a slower rate of economic, political and institutional development. On the contrary, Venezuela (although it was considered an exception in the past) is severely affected by this phenomenon and thus serves as a negative example in this thesis. The thesis focuses on state sovereign wealth funds and examines whether and under what conditions these funds have an effect on reversing the resource curse. Based on the theoretical part, five key characteristics are identified that the fund must meet in order to function against the negative manifestations of the curse of natural resources - (1) offsetting the effects of volatility, (2) diversifying the economy, (3) budgetary policy, (4) controlling the allocation of expenditure, (5) transparency of funds. Based on these characteristics, it is possible to observe that the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund works best from selected funds as a defense against the resource curse, followed by the Botswana fund and third by the Venezuelan fund. Comparison of chosen populist parties in France, Germany and the Netherlands in relationship to the European integration.
Drozdová, Miroslava ; Mejstřík, Martin (advisor) ; Kubát, Michal (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on cooperation of chosen populist parties in France, Germany and the Netherlands in relationship to the European Union and European integration. The first chapter defines and characterizes the term "populism". This chapter also focuses on populism in the European Union and European integration - it describes what topics are current and important for populist parties. The second chapter describes the chosen parties (National Front, Alternative for Germany and Party for Freedom) and their current election programs, which they used for the elections in 2017 and relatively success for these parties. The analysis of these election programs targets the areas regarding European Union and European integration. The last chapter analyzes these programs and also compares the approaches of the selected political entities among themselves. Based on this comparison a table is created from which the result of this work is apparent.
Gender differences in economic and social application of the countryside
Drozdová, Miroslava ; Majerová, Věra (advisor) ; Petra, Petra (referee)
Diploma thesis gender differences in economic and social role in the country deals with the differences between men and women's status in the household, gender segregation disciplines, division of roles in the household, and points to the fact that men and women are constantly ascribed certain roles, which make evaluation and occupation of vz the employability in the labor market. The work is divided into theoretical part, which explains the basic concepts of gender issues and a practical part, where based on the survey were verified basic objectives and hypotheses.
