Measurement of the total harmonic distortion

This thesis deals with the automated measurement of parameters of a simple transistor amplifier using the acquisition unit Agilent U2351A in the program Agilent VEE. Part of this work is to design a simple transistor amplifier operating in the audio frequency band. There is described the analysis of individual classes and parameters of these amplifiers, the possibilities of their measurement, especially the possibility of measuring the harmonic distortion. The work also includes a proposal to the measuring task with data acquisition unit for laboratory exercise of the subject Radioelectronics measurements.

Passenger vessel consumption computation

This thesis is focused on a design and an implementation of a power consumption computation for a passenger vessel using the industrial automation system Siemens Simatic S7-200 and the touch panel Weintek Easy View MT8150X. A part of the thesis represents a theoretical summary of features and parametres of the programmable logic controllers (PLC) and a way how they are programmed. The work includes a description of a computational algorithm, a block diagram of interconnections and a visualization software for testing. A greater part of this publication is devoted to a detailed decription of a program in the PLC and its visualization, especially the power consumption computation, a distance, an average speed and a wind speed and a direction. At the end, the thesis shows a procedure for an implementation and a measurement on the passenger ships at the Brno dam, including an evaluation of downloaded data.

Attitudes towards Homosexuality in Relation to Adoption of Children in Society Today

The aim of the work is to explore attitude of society to homosexuality in connection with potential children adoption. The first part of the thesis is aimed at defining the term of homosexuality, clarifying its origins and summarizing its history. There are also described attitude changes in present society in connection with homosexual emancipation. Attention is devoted to the fact, how it is reflected in attitudes of society in working and school environment and also in context of friendly relationships. The last part of the thesis is devoted to topic of homoparentality, what is children upbringing by homosexual partners. Discussed is also potential influence of parents' sexual orientation when children are raised by gay or lesbian couple. Issues of adoption of children from institutional care, a child adoption by the other partner and foster care are also studied. Results of the research, whose aim was to map attitude of humanist and technical oriented men and women to non-heterosexuality and possible child adoption by homosexual families, are presented in the second part of the thesis. Homophobic harassment and bullying in the school

This bachelory work is based on area, which is mapping homophobic bullying and harassment in classes at elementary and high schools. It shows it as psychologic area, which interdisciplinary exceeds to pedagogic area. Purpose of this work, in theoretic part, is to define different approaches for homosexuality, bisexuality, and transexuality from psychologic point, and clarify different homophobic prejudices, and negative attitude from students for this problem. It focuses at demarcation of different varieties of sexual orientation, and its diversity in society with regard to gender stereotypes. It also deals with specificity of homophobic bullying and harassment as a social pathologically phenomenon, which nowadays appears often at schools. Investigative part of this work should determine students' attitude to humans with non- heterosexual orientation and their imaginations of attitude forward these minorities in their social surrounding.
