High-temperature embrittlement of 14%Cr ODS ferritic steel in liquid lead environment
Dohnalová, Eva ; Čelko, Ladislav (referee) ; Hadraba, Hynek (advisor)
The thesis deals with the high-temperature embrittlement of 14%Cr ODS ferritic steel in liquid lead environment. The 14%Cr ferritic ODS steel ODM401 manufactured by powder metallurgy technology was used as an experimental material. The effect of the long-term annealing, surface corrosion attack in the melt Pb and Pb-Bi on the microstructure and mechanical properties was described. The subsequent microstructural changes were evaluated by means of scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy The mechanical behaviour of the experimental material was proven by means of microhardness test, impact test and static tensile test. The fractographical evaluation of fracture surfaces were performed on all samples. The surface attack and outstanding microstructural ganges were found after the long-time exposition of the steel in Pb/Pb-Bi melts at temperature 550°C/1000h and 500°C/1000h respectively. The embrittlement of the steel after exposition in Pb/Pb-Bi melts was comparable to the embrittlement after high-temperature annealing of the steel at temperature 650°C/1000h.
Analysis of Circular Bars Shearing Process
Dohnalová, Eva ; Hůlka, Jiří (referee) ; Foret, Rudolf (advisor)
In these days customers require a high quality as well as precision of products together with a cost that is as low possible. The cost of products can be reduced in a way of batch production. Implementation of the batch production requires a detailed plan of a technological process to avoid making depreciated products or series of products. A software package can be used to simulate the technological process of shearing to avoid difficulties of particular technological process. This bachelor paper contains analysis of technological process of shearing of circular section rods. The results of the analysis are going to be included in FEM simulations. The effect of the technological process of shearing on material was determined by optical and scanning electron microscopy method. The microhardness measurement was used to analyse the deformation hardening of the examinated material.

The role of municipalities in the integration policy of the Czech republic
Dohnalová, Eva ; Šámalová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Topinka, Daniel (referee) ; Mikulcová, Kateřina (referee)
The integration of migrants and ensuring social cohesion have become one of the main social and political issues of EU countries in the 21st century, including the Czech Republic, where migrants already account for about 10 % of the Czech population in 2022, including Ukrainian refugees. The experience of countries with a long immigration history confirms that local governments play a crucial role in integration. This dissertation focuses on the description and analysis of the role of cities in the integration policy of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with the conceptualisation of social integration and policies towards migrants at the national and municipal level. It also documents the current level of knowledge in the field of local integration policies in EU countries with a long immigration history and finally analyses the setting of integration policy in the Czech Republic, in particular the context of the role of local governments. The empirical part aims to describe and analyse the approaches of the selected six cities to the integration of foreigners both in the declarative and in the implementation level and at the same time to reflect the attitudes of the political and professional representation of the cities towards this target group. The thesis also focuses on the...

Community Work with Immigrants
Adamcová, Eliška ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Dohnalová, Eva (referee)
The thesis aims to look into the possibilities for the use of community work in the process of immigrant's integration into the society. The community work as an instrument of social work serves as a mean for building mutual bonds within a urban community, encourages development and exercise of the potential of the community and its citizens. This strengthens the active citizenship and involvement of the citizens in the processes that imminently concerns their lives. The thesis desribes the ways of possible inclusion of the immigrants in these processes in order for them to become equal fellow citizens of local communities and equal citizens of the country into which they decide to emigrate. The theoretical and philosophical background of this approach is an implementation and development of the political, civil and social rights that the immigrants acquire when given the permission of stay in certain country. The thesis describes results of a qualitative research lokking into community practise of two cities - Sheffield (United Kingdom) and Graz (Austria). These two examples describing the city council's involvement and the organizations-in-the-community's involvement are used to both define the realms of integration where the community work plays an undeniable role, and to come up with concrete...
