Importance of balance sheet in the Swiss financial reporting

The thesis investigates the importance of balance sheet in the Swiss financial reporting. At first it shows, on a theoretical basis, which is represented by balancing theories, the essential role of the balance sheet for recipients of accounting information. It also deals with the accounting legislation in Switzerland, general accounting principles, financial statement and its appurtenances and projection of selected balance sheet items. Moreover it examines the information capability of the balance sheet on the practical example of a Swiss company.

The target of the thesis is an evaluation of current advertising offers and budgeting system characteristic of a particular organization. Object of study is advertising on various radio stations, satisfaction with the work of companies, advertising agencies and then to their advertising and consumers look to advertising.
Orientation of a company in the market - selling or marketing conception

The theme of my bachelor{\crq}s thesis is Orientation of a company in the market {--} selling or marketing conception. I attempted to implement this analysis in Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o.(Ltd.). The purpose of my thesis is to identify gradually the business conception of this company. The analysis of this conception is based on conversations with managers and employees, and on assessment of particular parts related to assortment, prices, distribution and communication. The results of the research show, that Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o. (Ltd.) focuses rather on market than on company or organization and that the company emphasizes product. The company itself doesn´t identify customer´s needs. The company uses following tools of marketing mix: advertisement, sales promotions and personal selling. It uses promotion which is made by Sony. The profit, that Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o. (Ltd.) gains, comes from sale quantity. The sale quantity is conditional on the customers´ satisfaction. At the end of my analysis I discovered that Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o. (Ltd.) uses selling conception. Finally, I would like to emphasize that despite the absence of separated marketing department Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o. (Ltd.) pays its attention almost to all marketing activities. On the basis of the assignments, greater inadequacies can be found in the area connected with customers. The company should continuously assess customers´ needs and order goods according to the assessment results.
Financing and accounting in companies that were established for purposes other than business - in the specific context of the Klinika Dr. Pírka, Ltd.

This thesis is focused on health service, while the first chapter briefly describes the nonprofit sector and subsidized organizations, which is the most usual form of the health facilities. The next two chapters compare the establishment, management and accounting of public non-profit institutional health facilities to private health facilities. It is also mentioned the issue of financing of medical equipment and its evolution over time. The practical part is made of management of the Clinic of Dr. Pírek in the years 2006 to 2008.
