International migration of unaccompanied minors to Czech Republic and their integration into the majority society

The bachelor thesis outlines some background context regarding the phenomenon of unaccompanied minors in Czech Republic. Czech Republic belongs to the group of transit countries, through which unaccompanied minors travel to reach their destination country. The consequence is very few asylum applications from minors which Czech Republic receives. Therefore the thesis offers a broader view of migration issue of minors taking into account the European context. The Facility for children of foreign nationals provides care to unaccompanied minors in Czech Republic. This Facility plays a key role in process of integration of minors into the majority society. Thus the thesis as a form of qualitative approach to the issue focuses on the understanding of the function of this Facility and on the role of social and cultural capital of unaccompanied minors in the process of their integration in Czech Republic.
