Determination of the capacity charakteristics of two-level fixed spillway
Chvátal, Petr ; Haluza,, Miloslav (referee) ; Šulc, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis is conceived as a summary of existing information about two or more level fixed spillways of hydraulic structures and evaluates the capacity characteristics of individual variants. Its aim is primarily the formation and processing of these characteristics in the form of usable results, not only for design and research purposes, but also for numerical modelling.
WebAssembly usage in Industry 4.0
Chvátal, Petr ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the use of the new web standard WebAssembly. In the text of the thesis are described the technologies for web browsers and their use. Furthermore, are described the programming languages that support the WebAssembly web standard. Finally, the thesis presents the implementation of an application in this environment and the translation of an application written in C++ into WebAssembly using the Emscripten tool, evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of using WebAssembly over older web standards.
Effect of the inlets interoperability to their energy efficiency and the surface vortices formation
Chvátal, Petr ; Sehnal, Jan (referee) ; Šulc, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis contains several individual parts. It's especially about summary in the area of one-way inlets: the energy efficiency of the inlets and influence of the neighbouring inlets on them, the phases of creation of surface vortices, the influence on the vortex structures by the mutual operation of the neighbouring inlets and also the methods used to determine the critical and safe depth of dive of inlet against the creation of surface vortices. It also includes the description of process and the evaluation of laboratory tests, which are focused on the assessment of the effect of the mutual operation of inlets on their energy efficiency and the creation of higher intensity surface vortices. Important part of this diploma thesis is also a comparison of the achieved results with the results of the authors who have dealt with this issue.
