System of Employee Appraisal in Selected Company

The diploma thesis on the topic System of employee performance evaluation in selected company deals with issues of employee performance evaluation system in the company Unicorn, Inc. The main goal of this thesis is to perform, based on an analysis, an assessment of the employee evaluation system in the company Unicorn, inc., and, if any weak points are found, to also suggest appropriate solutions leading to improvement of current evaluation system. This work consists of two main parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents theoretical solutions from human resources managament field and assessment of employees on the grounds of analysis of secondary sources. The practical part introduces the company Unicorn, Inc. and on the basis of theoretical findings, it explains the system of employee performance evaluation within the company. The practical part is supported with outcomes from a research which was conducted in the company. This research was performed through a questionnaire survey with the assessees and a discussion with personnel department team. Based on the outcomes, strengths and weaknesses were determined. The concluding part suggests possible measures leading to improvement of current employee performance evaluation system.
