The development of the Thai Health Care System during last decade

The topic of this thesis is "the development of Thai health care system in the context of economics, politics, and social changes in the 1997-2007 periods". The purpose of this research objective is about to answer several questions concerning how Thai health care system is developed during last ten decade. Not only finding how Thai health care system is developed but also figure out the problem of Thai health care, trend of health care status, Thai health care financing, and Thai health care insurance during 1997-2007 periods. There are several methodology used in this thesis. Morphological analysis is used as a tool for analysis of social-economic development, health policy and health system modernization. Comparative and combination of statistical analysis are used to figure out the level of Thai health indicators and health expenditure. Furthermore, Health policy analysis and the health systems in transition are used as methodology in this thesis. The development of Thai health care system will be researched under the theoretical concept used for instance social changes, social policy, political changes, and economic changes.
