LAUSANNE – PLAINES DU LOUP: sustainable city development

Housing in the city, in the Plaines du Loup district of Lausanne in Switzerland. The clear goal of the assignment adds a primary school as another point of solution, considering the school as an extension of housing. Furthermore, the assignment is extended by the design of the neighboring park. The project deals with the design of a city block, based on the relationship between school, housing and public space. The project is based on an urban study by Tribu architects, ranging from a comprehensive urban concept to the architectural design of a school and apartment buildings. The effort to create a pleasant living environment is intertwined with all parts of the project.

Gallery of architecture, modern art and design. Located of corner Milady Horákové and Koliště streets on green belt surrounding the city center. It becomes a part of important city buildings and creates a space for exposition of various forms. It also deals with connection of urban greenery and recreation areas between Lužánky parc and city centre. Interior offers special expositions modes.
