Ethnographic aspects of the metaphorical conceptualization of the environment in the Czech prose of the 19th century. The bachelor thesis deals with incorporating ethnographic element in the Czech literature of the 19th century. It outlines the situation that was the basis for the growth and formation of literature in working with ethnographic material. The issue is specified on the example of work of Bozena Nemcova. The thesis describes her work with ethnographic elements and it focuses on the form of the element used when describing of the setting in the short story Chyže pod horami. (česky) Diplomová práce rekonstruuje životní příběh Václava Smutného (1859 - 1922) dnes zapomenutého (a možná nikdy neobjeveného) ředitele měšťanské školy, nadšeného amatérského národopisce, přispěvatele do Českého lidu a dalších periodik, sběratele, kreslíře a badatele ze Sadské. Diplomová práce se pokouší představit různorodou činnost, úsilí a invenci tohoto "večerního vědce z maloměsta" a v širším kontextu interpretovat a zhodnotit výsledky jeho celoživotní práce. Ensure of individual in traditional village comunity

The thesis deals with the topic of securing individuals in different contexts. In the first charter the social structure of a village is introduced. The particular position of a local community member influenced his/her opportunities of financial securing, rights and responsibilities. Next the work deals with relationships within the village community and in the line of the ruler, the nobility and villeins. Different strategies of the civil service are also presented. Finally three ways of securing an individual are described - financial security after entering into a marriage, provision after retirement, the right of heritage and final settlement.
