Czech film fairy-tale from the point of view of the film producer

In the year 1952 the director Bořivoj Zeman made first important Czech film fairy tale, which is still nowadays really successful a from this moment on film fairy tales happened to be natural and evident part of Czech cinematography. This diploma thesis in the first part describes conditions of creation and production of film fairy tales in the period of Czechoslovakian State Film and analyzes their position in the market. Second part deals with film fairy tale production after the year 1989, again examines conditions of their creation especially with emphasis on newly created private producers. Last part compares the conclusions of two previous parts and thinks of today?s and future?s task of film fairy tale.
