Bachelor thesis deals with chocolate and chocolate pralines. The first part of the theoretical part focuses on the history of chocolate, the characteristics of the cocoa plant and the production of chocolate to its storage. The work also identifies undesirable phenomena that may occur during production and storage. Further, the theoretical part is focused on pralines, its production and distribution into individual species. The practical part of the bachelor thesis was about pralines. A sensory profile was determined and the results obtained were processed by statistical and graphical methods.

Regime Change Policy interventions: Iraq and Libya

This bachelor's thesis aims to prove or disprove following hypothesis: The interests of western countries have major impact on the present instable situation in the Middle East and North Africa region. First, theoretical chapter defines area of case studies, explains legality and legitimacy, and interprets the national security strategy of the US from 2002, which is also known as Bush doctrine or Regime Change doctrine. Empirical part consists of two case studies: intervention in Iraq 2003 and inervetion in Libya 2011. These case studies are focused on political, economic and cultural context of the interventions. The last part compares Iraq and Libya and both interventions, while searching for a trend that might have the destabilizing effect.

The bachelor thesis deals with the breakdown into groups and characteristics of the range of non-alcoholic beverages and soft drinks under current legislation, then describes the raw materials for their production. Based on the review of the literature she has focused on manufacturing processes of selected drinks. Then the thesis deals with quality characteristics, sensory quality assessment and legislative restrictions on production. The work was conducted in 2011 in Lednice in Moravia at the Faculty of Horticulture of Mendel University in Brno.

Ireland: the causes of the economic boom

The thesis deals with the economic development of Ireland from the half of the 19th century till now. The main focus is on the development in 90's when Ireland experienced the economic boom. The main aim of the thesis is to find and analyse the causes of the boom. The favourable development passed with the end of the lending boom and the conjuncture on the real estate market. Now Ireland has to deal with the crisis which had a negative effect on the economy.

NAFTA: the chosen problems and the outlook of the integration

The Bachelor thesis deals with the integration group NAFTA in North America. The first part of the thesis is focused on the position of NAFTA in the Word. This American integration is compared with EU and the Asian integration ASEAN. In the second part the trade relations are described. In detail internal relations of NAFTA and also external ones. The last part is considered as the main part of the thesis. Ii is focused on contemporary problems in NAFTA. It includes the problems in maquiladoras on the U.S.-mexican border, the matter of creating Free Trade Area of Americas, the idea of creating North American Union and the economic plans of newly elected president of USA, Barack Obama. For better understanding there are graphs and figures in the text.
